Absolutely. Parents are welcome to stop by anytime, share lunch with their little one, or just peek in on their child’s day. We want you to feel part of your child’s journey.
Our teachers are dedicated professionals. The majority hold CDA (Child Development Associate) certifications, and everyone attends monthly training sessions to stay current with best practices. Many have been with us for years, creating consistency and strong bonds with families.
We nurture the mind, body, and strength (MBS!) of each child with a curriculum that blends play and structured learning — supporting early literacy, math, creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth.
Yes! Teachers track growth in all areas of development and share updates during Parent–Teacher Conferences and throughout the year.
Your child’s safety comes first. We maintain secure entry systems, background-checked staff, and CPR/First Aid-certified teachers. Classrooms and playgrounds are designed with safety at the center.
We use positive guidance techniques — encouraging problem-solving, teaching empathy, and building independence. Our goal is to help children feel confident and capable.
Yes! We have a full kitchen on site and serve fresh, nutritious meals and snacks daily. We are a peanut-free facility. If your child has other dietary needs, we’ll work with you personally to make sure they’re safe and supported.

We are conveniently located near the Greenhouse exit on I-10, making drop-off and pick-up easy for parents commuting to and from work. Our location is also ideal for families with parents working at the Greenhouse Medical Center, so your little one can be close by while you’re at work.
Enrollment begins with a tour, followed by completion of our application and the required forms. Spots fill quickly, so we recommend securing your child’s place early. Families love choosing MBS not just for our warm, enriching programs — but also for our convenient location, family events, and strong community feel.
We host fun family events all year long, such as our Fall Festival, Grandparents’ Breakfast, Thanksgiving Feast, Parent–Teacher Open House Night, and Daughter–Dad Dance. These events bring families together and create lasting memories.
Parents receive daily reports including naps, meals, activities, and special moments. Plus, you’ll get regular updates on your child’s milestones and progress.
To help keep all children healthy, families are required to pick up an ill child within one hour of notification. If you’re unable to arrive within that time, please arrange for an alternate pickup person listed on your child’s emergency contact form.
Children will be excluded from the program if they show symptoms of a communicable illness and may return only once they are no longer contagious. Return-to-school guidelines follow recommendations from pediatric health authorities. A doctor’s note confirming your child is no longer contagious and is cleared to return is required.
Children sent home with a fever must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning. If your child is sent home due to a fever, they may not return the following day at a minimum. For the safety of all children, the Center Director or designee reserves the right to determine if a child is well enough to participate.
Cleanliness is a top priority. Toys are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day after use, and classrooms and play areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily.
If your child has a minor injury, you will receive an incident report through Procare. For more serious injuries, especially involving the head or face, we will call you immediately. A photo will also be shared through the Procare Connect app to keep you fully informed.
Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. Families must provide a completed and signed Food Allergy Emergency Plan at enrollment or as soon as an allergy is identified. This form must be completed by your child’s physician and updated every six months (or sooner if needed). This form can be requested from the Center Director.
Any medication required to treat an allergic reaction must be provided according to our Medication Policy. Our staff follows doctor-provided instructions carefully to ensure your child’s health and well-being.
Yes. Medication may be administered if it is prescribed by a doctor and arrives in its original container with the prescription label and dosage clearly listed.
We understand that starting school is a big transition. Teachers give new children plenty of extra attention, reassurance, and care. Children ages 3 and older are paired with a mentor child who helps them feel welcome and learn classroom routines. Our goal is to help every child feel safe, loved, and confident.
Teachers provide gentle encouragement, one-on-one attention, and thoughtful introductions to peers. Children are often paired with classmates who have similar personalities to help ease them into daily activities at a comfortable pace.
We support social development by encouraging children to work in pairs and small groups, express their feelings using words, and collaborate on projects. Through guided play and group activities, children practice communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Each classroom follows a customized daily schedule designed for the children’s age and developmental needs. The day begins with breakfast and includes a balance of teacher-led and child-led activities.
Children explore creative arts, math, science, literacy, fine and gross motor skills, social-emotional learning, music, and outdoor play. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a light supper are served. All children through Pre-K have a scheduled nap or rest time each day. Learning is hands-on, engaging, and fun.
Outdoor time varies by age:
We balance structure and free play based on age and developmental needs. Younger children are given more free play to explore and discover their environment. Children ages 3 and older have more structured activities to prepare for kindergarten, while still enjoying plenty of free play to support creativity and social development.
We follow the TRS (Texas Rising Star) required children to teacher ratio for each age group to ensure children receive appropriate supervision and care.
Children 2 years and under do not have screen time. Children ages 3 and older may occasionally watch a short, educational movie during the summer, usually tied to the learning theme.
Literacy and math are woven into daily activities in both planned and spontaneous ways. From reading and singing with infants to sight words, tracing, counting, and simple math in Pre-K, children build skills naturally through play, routines, and hands-on exploration.
Teachers adjust lesson plans and activities to meet the individual needs of children. Staff are trained to recognize different learning styles and adapt activities so every child can learn in a way that works best for them.
Our classrooms are based on development, not just age. Children are placed where they will be most successful, and teachers have access to a variety of curriculum options to challenge advanced learners or provide extra support when needed.
We understand that young children are still learning how to communicate and manage their emotions. In our infant through toddler classrooms, behaviors such as biting can be a normal part of development. Our teachers respond promptly with close supervision, gentle guidance, and redirection to keep everyone safe.
We work in partnership with families to support positive behavior using consistent strategies at school and at home. Families are notified of any incidents through written reports, and children’s privacy is always respected.
For older children, repeated aggressive behaviors may raise safety concerns. When necessary, we work closely with families to address ongoing challenges. In rare cases, continued incidents may affect a child’s enrollment, as the safety and well-being of all children remains our top priority.
Teachers help children work through conflicts by encouraging them to express their feelings, listen to others, and practice problem-solving skills. When there is a risk of injury, teachers step in immediately to ensure everyone’s safety and keep families informed as needed.
Yes. We value open communication and encourage families to stay connected with teachers. Families can message teachers through the Procare Connect app, speak with them during drop-off or pick-up, or request a conference. For formal concerns or complaints, we ask families to contact management so concerns can be addressed promptly and effectively.
Teachers hold parent-teacher conferences twice a year, with additional meetings available upon request. If concerns arise at any time, meetings can be scheduled with teachers and management to discuss next steps. Incident reports are shared for injuries or behavior-related concerns to keep families informed.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. All individuals entering the building must be known to management or present proper identification. Door codes are not shared, and all exterior doors remain locked and are monitored by staff throughout the day.
Yes. We conduct all required safety drills monthly to ensure children and staff are prepared in the event of an emergency.
We follow Katy ISD guidelines for weather-related closures. Families are notified through Procare Connect, email, Facebook, and phone calls when available.

Infants should also bring pre-made bottles and baby food if they do not eat what we provide.
